Profile Sync
In Xenbox, profile sync securely stores all your browser data — fingerprints and cookies — in the cloud. This ensures:
- Access anywhere — open the same profile from any device with Xenbox installed.
- Consistency — profiles remain identical no matter where they’re launched.
Best Practices for Safe Profile Use
Following these guidelines will help prevent data loss and keep your profiles reliable.
1. Always Close Profiles Properly
Either close the profile window or press Close in Xenbox to trigger a sync before shutting down your computer or the app.
2. Manually Close the App
To avoid data mismatch or data loss. Manually close the app before your computer goes off.
3. Avoid Using the Same Profile on Multiple Devices at Once
Only one active session can sync to the cloud at a time. Running the same profile on multiple devices simultaneously can cause:
- Mismatched profile data.
- Lower trust scores on websites.
4. Keep an Active Internet Connection
If your internet drops before sync completes, recent changes may be lost and you’ll have to restore from the last saved state. You may have to manually sync from the status bar in your next session.
